You know your child best! Family plays a crucial role in a child's progress with their speech and language skills. I provide resources and strategies for parents to reinforce learning at home.

About Me

I am Lilly Arthur, M.A., CCC-SLP, a licensed Speech Language Pathologist with more than five years of experience with supporting the communication needs of children ages 3-18. I earned both my Bachelor's Degree (2017) and my Master's degree (2021) from the University of Cincinnati. At Beyond Words Communication, I prioritize building meaningful connections and take a whole-child approach to develop confidence and effective communication skills.

I focus on helping children communication with confidence in ways that work best for them. I support speech sound development to improve intelligibility, as well as expressive and receptive language skills so children can understand and share their thoughts, needs, ideas, and knowledge. I also work with children who experience social communication differences, building skills for connection, conversation, and navigating everyday interactions. Taking a Total Communication approach, I use AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) to ensure every child has a voice, whether that be through verbal speech, gestures, visuals, or a Speech-Generating Device.

My approach is compassionate and individualized, fostering a supportive environment where children can thrive and develop their communication skills with confidence.
